DSS Racing Forged Pistons with Custom Rings & Prefitted Eagle Forged Connecting Rods

Forged and machined with premium aircraft-quality 4032 alloy, the pistons are a great choice for naturally aspirated, nitrous or boosted engines with the added strength from the internal gussets. Additional CNC milling removes material in non-critical areas to achieve a lighter weight for the perfect balance of strength, power, and longevity.

The patented X grove extends the life of the cylinders, pistons, and rings. On the down stroke debris and excess oil are swept into the X grove and exit the piston's oil drain back holes. This keeps the clearance between the piston and the cylinder wall cleaner and reduces oil load on the oil ring. On the up stroke when fuel washes down normal wear and break-in debris are swept into the X grove but exit into the oil pan and this maintains an oil film on the most critical parts of the skirts and cylinder walls. The pistons include custom rings. For optimized ring seal at the upper RPM ranges horizontal gas ports were added.
